Mr. Chattaroy, "Tear down this wall!"
$15,000 - 20,000
Our customer had a hard time breathing inside their fully enclosed one-piece fiberglass shower, with no place for water vapor to escape. The old shower was removed along with the drop down ceiling, and the dividing wall against the tub was partially removed and cut down to save the tub tile surround. The new shower was framed in with a custom 30"x15" niche. A hex glass mosaic was set on the shower floor, and a 10"x14" Florentine ceramic tile was used on the walls. The curb was cut down to allow for easy entry and exit along with a grab bar placed on the back wall. A LED light was installed overhead, and a brushed nickel shower tower with it's own blue LEDs was hung. A 3/8" thick clear glass hinged shower door was constructed around the shower; ultimately opening up the room and making it feel larger.
